FEBRUARY REPORT ON GAZA

In Gaza Strip, there were many demonstrations that were held by the Palestinian journalists condemning and complaining about the lack of protection, as they were holding their cameras. On the other hand, two children were injured when the IDF opened their gunfire against the people in Khan Younis refugee camp leaving two injured children Mohammed Arfa (12) and Khalil Jamel Ramadan(11).
The Naser hospital described their injuries as not too serious.

Israeli bulldozers demolished a large numbers of palms trees, an attack that followed another attack with two bulldozers, three tanks and a number of Hummer jeeps according to eyewitnesses in Deir Al Balah.

On the other hand, two days ago, Suliman Al Najar (75) and Ayam Al Astal (35) were injured in the same attack in Khan Younis Camp. The IDF also transferred engineer Lwai Al Quriti (32) from
Nablus into Gaza City, for four years..

Today according to medical resources, Mwafaq Al Araj (25) and Mohanad Abu Hatab (23) were killed today after clashes with the Israeli troops in one of the Israeli militant points in Gaza Strip. In the last week, attacks were everywhere, in Khan Younes Refugee Camp. Two children were injured and another two were kidnapped and we do not know by whom, but according to their families, they were on their way to school.

The Norwegian Minister was appalled at Israeli destruction in Khan Younis Refugee Camp in the south of Gaza Strip..

A Norwegian minister expressed deep shock over the enormous destruction inflicted by the Israeli war machine on the Palestinian citizens and their houses in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis. A visist from a senior official is enough to show the Israeli crimes that are committed against the people here in Rafah and Khan Younis Camp.. as the The Minister of International Development of Norway, Hilde Frafjord Johnson, called on the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his government during a visit to the city of Khan Younis to seriously implement his plans of dismantling illegitimate Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip, due to the terrible suffering these settlements cause to the Palestinian population, especially those resulting from the isolation of cities, towns and from
each other.

As the Minister, was in a visit to Khan Younis Camp, where she saw the demolished houses that caused by the Israeli troops in Khan Younis Camp..

Dr. Osama Al Farra, the mayor of Khan Younis, told Minister Johnson and her accompanying delegation that the Israeli war machine has caused the demolition of nearly 2,600 Palestinian homes, whether partially or completely.

They killed him while on his way to his school.. Tareq Al Susi (11) was killed by an F16 as it raided Al Wehda Street in Gaza City today at 10:30AM targeting one of the leaders in Gaza City.. Over 13 people were injured; three of them are school students who get injured while they were going to their schools.. the tarageted area was croweded with school students, and people..

Just two days after killing two people from Al Mubaid family in Gaza City for no reason, Israel commits a new crime in Hay Al Zutoon in Gaza City, where a large number of bulldozers and tanks attacked Gaza leaving 13 dead, 9 of whom are known and 4 of whom had not been identified. There was also a large number of injured people.. Up till this moment the number of the injured people is unknown.

Dr. Abu Safia, the director of receptions in Gaza City Hospital said: "we have a large number of people, many arrived at the hospital with missing parts of their bodies, and still others that we can't bring to the hospital because of the Israeli targeting and preventing of the ambulances to go get them. On the other hand, the refugees families appeal to the Red Cross and international organizations for help to get the injured people from the damaged areas to the hospitals, and the hospital is calling the citizens and residents to donate blood for the injured."

Two Palestinians were arrested, and Abu Holi checkpoint was blocked for many hours. They invaded and checked many houses in Deir al Balah, and many Palestinians were injured, and other agriculture plot demolished..

New attack in Dier Al Balah by a group of Israeli tanks and bulldozers forcing three families to leave their houses under the treat of weapons force, that three families are: Mahgmoud Saed, Khaled Mhamoud, and Akram Saed, as in the same time they shoot fir against people leaving a 65 years old injured Ali Abu Al Qasem.. That attack was under very massive shelling in addition to using their police dogs in which make fear against children and women.

As eyewitnesses said: "the Israeli soldiers stopped one of the cars at the checkpoint then they handcuff the people whom inside them and take them to unknown area. During the last few days, Israeli apaches and F16s were in the sky of Gaza Strip without shelling any house during the last few days, but shelling was from many settlements and house in the North of Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, the Israeli Army warned many families inn Deir Al Balah to leave their houses in the next few hours, as that came after two hours from shooting over 35 Palestinian workers who are working inside Israeli as those workers suffered all the time in order to get a work and feed their children and families, many of them get up at 3 o’clock in the night to work and come back at the end of the day after a long trip from waiting for many hours in the checkpoints and putting of their clothes under a very tent checking..

In Khan Younes City, yesterday a Palestinian child girl called Hanin Abu Rizka (9 years old) was injured in different parts of her body, and Naser hospital described that she has serious but not critical injuries. IDF snipers shelled houses in Al Qara refugee Camp near KhanYounes which horrified and terrorized the people. They also demolished a large numbers of olive trees, and vegetables that belonged to
Al Abaddla and Al Farra families in Al Qara Camp, and burnt the water machines after demolishing it so they can hide their crimes.

Seeing the tents in Al Qara just brought back to the people memories of the same cries in the 1948 setback when Palestinians entered the history as homeless refugees. Now they became homeless again in Al Qara Camp, living in tents that do not protect them from the cold weather nor from the rain.

Over 10 houses that were home to over 120 member were demolished. Saleh Al Sadoni (67) sits in the
rubble of his house with other groups of children, women, and men who were trying to comfort him. He was crying because this was his only home and it had housed 13 family members. In a very tired voice he cried ”They damaged all things, they didn’t give us even chance to get out our clothes, nothing remains just stones and rubble. Where can go now? I put all things in that house and the end is.”

Yusif Abu Dahir (50) wasn’t different from his neighbor Saleh. He said:” they damaged our house, but
we will ever never leave our land, and if they demolished our houses we will live in our tents, and if they remove the tents we will live in other tents. It’s our land and we will not leave our ancestors' land.” He added that he has this tent which is his only shelter during winter where he lives with 6 members of his family.

The situations was not different in North of Gaza Strip where is a large number of houses were demolished also today. Three Israeli bulldozers demolished a large numbers of trees in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, as the citizens feared that there will be a building of new Israeli military points near Ilisani and Dogheet settlements. In addition to that, the bulldozers demolished the electricity stations in
the area as well as two tents that belonged to the Palestinian National Security only a few months from demolishing government buildings in the area.

Again shelling houses and people in the streets by Israeli Apaches and F16s, while the media says that they are targeting people from the resistance. They killed and injured bystanders and ordinary citizens.. This is the daily life for all people here in Palestine.. Over the past week, many people were killed, and another large number were injured by F16s and Apaches in Gaza City..In the Khan Younes refugee Camp, the Israeli Army with two bulldozers and three tanks demolished 5 houses.. The attack occured in Al Noria area, in Khan Younes Camp, the Israeli tanks and bulldozers withdrew at 11:30 p.m., just two hours ago leaving another number of demolished trees and agriculture areas. The same policy is applied in Beith Hanoun and Beit Lahia, where there was massive shelling and shooting in the direction of houses...
